| | We Provide The Missing Pieces

The '90's downsizing of "Corporate America" led to thousands of new, start-up companies founded by former employee's of
these larger corporations; hundreds of "virtual companies" that pool individual
talents to create a larger whole and "cyber world.com's" that exist mainly in
the world of the internet and your computer. It is an entirely new world out there and this
downsized world has not failed to leave its mark on the profession of Architecture. Many
architects abandoned their profession for other careers, but hundreds of others
have started new firms in competition with the larger, well known firms.
Why should any smart business person choose one
of these "unknowns" over an established company with a track record?
Back in the mid '90's we proposed an alternative to both of the above and started a new firm with the background, experience and blessing of the founding firm
that it springs from. That firm is Roy Gee Associates, an offspring
of Emery Roth, one of the oldest and most respected architectural firms in the New York City. The new firm's architectural foundation is rooted in over thirty
years of regional, national and international project experience.
Roy Gee Associates melds the "hands on"
attention of the small, boutique firm with the network of experience of the
large, established firm. We create award winning projects by understanding our
client's wishes; applying creative design and producing practical, buildable
solutions. We listen, we think and we respond.
The firm is headed by Roy Gee, whose extensive
work in commercial and residential architecture and interior design has led to
a thorough knowledge of the process of delivering projects that clients expect.
Contained within this work is a portfolio of award winning and published
projects.
Our past projects include: Kookmin Ilbo
Headquarters, Seoul, Korea; One and Two
Renaissance Square, Pheonix; Peremba Headquarters, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; The Oxford at Seventy-Second Street, New
York City; Seventeen State Street, New York City; New York Historical Society
Towers Proposal, New York City; The Summit Residential Conversion; and Sage Realty Corporation Space Planning, New York
City.
In our first decade of practice we have completed over 500 projects that include complete condo-residential conversions; large office interior spaces; small individual offices; lobby furniture design; and graphic identity programs. We look forward to our second decade.
